Community Service

In additon to PeekImage'scorporate interests, its co-founders are highly engaged in volunteerism and passionate about giving back to a number of important causes through community service that impacts groups at local, regional, national and international levels.


Ozzie Sawicki has had a long term passion for sport and provides extensive volunteer time in a number of related areas including coaching, officiating and event support. He is heavily involved in Paralympic sport, including:

  • Volunteer Team Leader for Canada at the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia; and
  • Volunteer Director of Technical Controls and Officiating for the International Paralymic Committee Alpine Skiing and Snowboard Sport Technical Committee, which oversees these sport’s Continental Cup, World Cup, World Championships and Paralympic Winter Games at the event management level.

Cynthia Weifenbach is a highly dedicated volunteer, and is presently, or has been involved in leadership roles with organizations including:

  • The City of Hope, which is focused on cancer and stem cell research;
  • Olive Crest Homes and Services for Abused Children;
  • The Network of Executive Women, which is focused on creating advancement opportunities for women through mentorship, inclusion and recognition of the need for diversity in the grocery retail setting; and
  • Hike the Halo, which is a stair climb fundraising event to support funding and research for Cystic Fibrosis.
